Type MR105 Direct-Operated Pressure Reducing Regulators
Type MR105 direct-operated pressure reducing regulator is a high capacity multi-purpose regulator designed to handle pressures up to 400 psig (27,6 bar) and temperatures up to 250°F (121°C). It provides simple, fast, and economical pressure control for various applications and is suitable for different flow media such as liquid, air, and gas. Type MR105 is ideal for applications where speed of response is critical, minimum differential pressure is a concern, or the process fluid is not free of impurities. Typical applications include lube oil, cooling water and pump bypass regulators.

Type MR108 Direct-Operated Backpressure Regulators
Type MR108 backpressure regulators are direct-operated, high-capacity, multi-purpose regulators. They are designed to handle pressures up to 400 psig (27,6 bar) and temperatures up to 250°F (121°C). They provide reliable and economical control for different flow media like liquid, air, and gas. Application includes lube oil systems and any application where speed of response is critical, minimum differential pressure is a concern, or fluid is not free of impurities.
The new MR105 and MR108 pressure regulators feature:
- 1” – 4” E-Body Design for large flows
- Cast Iron, Steel, CF8M/316 Stainless Steel, and option CF3M/316L Stainless Steel constructions
- Spring to open directed-operated design for fast speed of response
- Inlet pressure up to 400 psig
- Versatile design with just two actuator covering set pressures from 5 – 300 psig pressure
- Class VI shut-off
- Nitrile or Fluorocarbon elastomers
- Optional Easy Drain Valve for lube-oil applications
- Applications include any application where speed of response is critical, minimum differential pressure is a requirement, or fluid is not free of impurities
- Optional materials are available for applications handling sour gases. These constructions comply with the recommendations of NACE International Standards MR0175 and MR0103
- The Type MR105/108 regulator’s cage-guided metal plug design provides superior control stability of delivery pressure
