Gases are used in chemical and industrial processes, such as analytical instrumentation, environmental compliance, electronic manufacturing, chemical production, reference gases and medical uses. All the devices in these systems must be compatible to prevent complications, such as corrosion, unwanted chemical reactions, ignition or explosion. Also, some of these process systems operate at very high or very low temperatures.
Regulators must be constructed to withstand these temperatures.
